When a product we recommend is at a fair-to-good price this week, it appears here with the current price beside it. Each entry clears the same bar: the price is checked against what the item has been selling for recently, not the list price a retailer can set to anything, and it’s a price we’d be happy to pay ourselves.

Live prices render below where available. A short section is the real state of the week. We don’t pad it to look busy, and “nothing worth featuring” is a valid result we’ll print rather than hide.

Reading an entry

Each drop carries a one-line reason it made the cut: what it normally sells for, and why this price clears our bar rather than just looking like a discount. If a number doesn’t earn that sentence, it doesn’t go on the list. That’s the whole editorial filter.

Before you buy

Pick the product first from our guides and reviews based on the job you need done. A fair price on the wrong device is still the wrong device. Once you know what you want, this page tells you whether now is a good moment to get it.
