Why we exist
Shopping for consumer gear keeps getting worse. Search results fill up with thin pages that rank well but never touched the product. Star ratings are gamed, and a “sale” is often the old price with a bigger number struck through. Two questions stay hard to answer: is this thing good, and is now a good time to buy it?
Modima Labs answers them. We research consumer products, track what they sell for over time, and say what is worth your money and when the price is right. We sell nothing and have nothing to move. The only thing we want is your trust the next time you buy.
How we work
We evaluate products through deep research and score them against what matters in daily use. Every recommendation names its tradeoff, because the right pick depends on who you are. We track real selling prices, so a drop has to beat the recent trend before we flag it, and we revisit our work as prices move and better options launch.
