That is the entire business model behind the free content on this Site. You deserve to know it exists, where it applies, and what it does not change.

What affiliate income does not change

It does not change our scores, our rankings, or which products we recommend. We decide what to evaluate and what to praise or criticize before money enters the picture, and we keep the commercial side walled off from the editorial side. We earn the same commission rate whether we tell you to buy a product or to skip it. If a product is not worth your money, we say so, even when there is a link next to it. The networks we work with

We are not enrolled in any affiliate program yet, so the buy links on this site are off and these pages are editorial and price reference only. Once we join a program, we'll name it here and the buy links will go live. Whatever a network pays, we never see your payment information or what you personally bought.

How to spot affiliate links

Pages that contain affiliate links carry a clear disclosure near the top, and the buy buttons themselves point to retailers. If you would rather not use an affiliate link, you can always navigate to the retailer directly. Our recommendations are the same either way.
